I hope everyone has adjusted to the change in weather as we approach the official start of winter. First, I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and thank our board, committees and members for continually. We are looking for committee members for next year:

  • Programming
  • Marketing/Communications

  • Finance
  • NextGen
  • NOW
  • Sponsorship
  • Charity/Community Service
Please email our Chapter Executive, Andrea Pauson if you'd like to get more involved with TMA's committees or have interest in serving on the board.

NOW had two additional Lunch & Learn events this Fall 2018 -- "Mindfulness Monday" with expert Donna Branca and to talking business development with sales strategist Beth Rosenfeld of Business. Development University. At the end of summer NOW hosted their annual Rittenhouse Spa & Club for networking. All three events were great for networking, educational development and fun. Now is making progress on a revamped signature event for Spring 2019 and look forward to sharing once details are finalized.

TMA NextGen Philadelphia/Wilmington has had an exciting close to the 2018 year. In August, they had their annual Delaware event at Constitution Yards on the Wilmington Riverfront. This November, NextGen partnered with the Association for Corporate Growth on a charity event for the benefit of Bringing Hope Home. Turnout for both events was fantastic and Evan Miller and the group hopes to keeps the momentum going into 2019.

Please join me in congratulating four of our members John Buck, J.W. Clements, Michael Goodman, Mathew Rotenberg for being chosen to join the volunteer Compass project teams. It is an an extremely competitive process with more applications than spots available. The Compass organization strives to honor preferences for projects while ensuring diversity on each team (in terms of skills, professional background, etc.)  "TMA members have always provided critical insight and expertise for our projects. I look forward to involving even more TMA members in the future." (Beth Dahle, Executive Director, Compass).

The 2018 TMA Annual was well represented by our chapter's members with our participation on boards, committees, attendees and the Hall of Fame Inductees and Honorees.
