Early childhood award nominations open

4C for Children has created the following awards to recognize individuals who make a difference in the lives of young children and families:

The June Sciarra Early Childhood Leadership Award is presented annually to one child care program administrator for outstanding service on behalf of young children and families.

The Early Childhood Educator Award recognizes an educator who impacts children on a daily basis. This includes those who work directly with children in the following settings: family child care programs, preschool programs (public or private), child care centers, school-age programs, or Head Start.

Both awards will be presented during the October 4C for Children Leadership and Early Childhood Conference. The June Sciarra Award will be celebrated on Oct. 25 and the Early Childhood Award will be presented on Oct. 26, 2019.

The deadline for nominations for both awards is Sept. 3. Have a coworker, parent, teacher or community representative nominate you, or you may nominate yourself. Visit our website for more information about the award criteria and to find nomination forms.

Don't forget to register for the 4C for Children Leadership and Early Childhood Conference, presented by Positive Leaps, Oct. 25-26, at the Sharonville Convention Center.
