OCTOBER IS MEMBERSHIP DRIVE MONTH!
October is the Kent Library Association, Inc.'s Membership drive month!
Our membership drive runs from October to October each year.
The 2018 KLA Membership mailing will go out to you on October 5th.
Please watch for it and renew your membership, or join, for 2018.
We really need your financial support-remember, the library only
receives 30% of its support from the Town, and the other 70% of the
operating budget must be raised by the library association's volunteers,
board and staff. Also, the library receives no capital or building support
from the Town, so all costs on our aging buildings area eating away
at our emergency funds. Thank you so much for your support!

There's Still Room For You. Call to Make an Appointment.
Quiz Night Winners

And the winners of Quiz Night are..
The Underachievers!
Congratulations Jill Scholsohn
for winning the Wine!
2nd place: Still Undecided
Ironically, Not Last Place came in last!
Congratulations Stacy Scott!
Congratulations to Stacy Scott, South Kent resident, who just won the drawing for Kent Memorial Library's Adult Summer Reading program! Stacy is a regular customer of the library and reads on average 3-5 books a week. Her husband says she has an insatiable urge to read constantly. Stacy said the first thing she did when she moved to town was apply for a library card, then she registered to vote-in that order. Her prizes for the drawing are a canvas library book bag, plus a gift card and chocolate- filled basket donated by Sharon of Kent, Coffee & Chocolate. Thank you to Stacy for loving the library and reading!
