Dear Share the Care Families,

After careful consideration regarding the Coronavirus, Share the Care, Inc has made the decision to continue the closure of all five of our centers until at least the April 17, 2020. This closure time period may extend beyond that date based on the Coronavirus.

 

As the time passes, we will continue to assess the situation and let families know when we are able to reopen the centers. We are thinking of the families during this difficult and unprecedented time.

 

Share the Care, Inc. is also offering in-home respite services to current day center clients based on availability. If you are interested in the in-home respite care, please call our case management department at 407-423-5311 to add your name to the wait list. We will continue to operate this service for as long as we are able to in our local area. The Orlando area does have a Stay at Home order but we are able to continue to operate as an essential community service. Please keep in mind these services are limited and based on staff availability.

 

The health of our most vulnerable clients, staff and families are a main priority during these times. Continuing services on a limited basis allows Share the Care, Inc. to serve our families with the most need and provides some income for our staff. We appreciate your understanding.

Sending Reassurance

Do you know of a senior in the Central Florida area staying at home alone because of the Stay-at-Home order? 

Share the Care is able to use some of our grant funds to make reassurance phone calls. If you would like one of these calls, or if you know of a senior who would welcome a reassurance call, please let us know. You can call us at 407-423-5311 or email us at [email protected].

If you are looking at ways to fill your time while staying at home, we need volunteers to help make the phone calls too. Just give us a call and we can give you more details.
