August 2019
Grand River Construction
It's starting. Construction will begin the week of August 12 starting at Southfield Rd. and moving west on the north side (our side) of Grand River Ave. Two lanes of traffic, a turn lane and parking will remain open on the south side of Grand River Ave. But, there will be no parking on our side of Grand River.
  • Parking is always available at Auto Zone at the corner of Evergreen and Grand River (just the other side of Grandmont Rosedale Development Corporation's office.) It's a short walk (2 minutes, Susan walked it) back to Pages and the sidewalk will remain open.
  • Parking is available on Saturdays in the DMC's Grand River Health Center just to the east of us.

We will really need your support during this time! We are working on more parking solutions, so please keep watching us on Facebook, Instagram or our website.

LOCAL POET
Glenn Taylor
What is truth and whose truth?” Glenn Taylor asks, in poems that both scour for and speak answers to past and current racial injustice in his own life, in Detroit, in the nation. “Glenn Taylor doesn’t do subtlety,” his own poem says. So, if you’d rather sift through layers looking for meaning, or if you want comfort, you’re in the wrong room. “You asked for honesty,” Taylor says—and with a poetry made of muscle and music, he breaks the silence.

PAGES BOOKSHOP PRESENTS
Elemental A Panel of Creative Nonfiction Authors
Come meet Michigan authors: Alison Swan, Ari Mokdad, Keith Taylor, and Anne-Marie Oomen. Elemental: A Collection of Michigan Creative Nonfiction comes to us from twenty-three of Michigan's most well-known essayists. The essays approach Michigan at the atomic level. This is a place where weather patterns and ecology matter. Farmers, miners, shippers, and loggers have built (or lost) their livelihood on Michigan's nature-what could and could not be made out of our elements.
MYSTERY AUTHORS AT PAGES BOOKSHOP

Please join us in welcoming authors L.A. Chandlar, C.M. Gleason and Dianne Freeman for their latest mystery novels. Their current books, as well as earlier books in each series, will be available for sale.
