Veterans Bridge Home Employment Provider Spotlight
Patriots Path's 5-Part program provides career transition strategies for military Veterans (and spouses) as well as active duty Guard and Reserve members. This course was developed and is taught by Career Coaches and Executive Recruiters. Each of our five in-classroom, interactive workshops are held in corporate boardrooms or training facilities offering students added connectivity to employers who are committed to supporting them. In addition to the five group classes, students also participate in breakout sessions one-on-one with assigned mentors and coaches to cover more personalized resume writing, mock-interviews and job shadowing.
The course is free! A Registration fee of $25 covers the entire program including assessments.

Mecklenberg Count Veterans Service Orgz: Case Coordinator - Veteran Services Division
This position will connect and arrange services for veterans through NCServes and serve as community liaison between partner agencies and Veterans Services Division. Primary focus areas of this position are around the work we do to address veteran suicide prevention & postvention and veteran homelessness. Military Veterans are strongly preferred.
- Completes screenings and assessments for appropriate referrals for housing, employment, financial, mental health and substance abuse treatment and follow-up with Veteran Service Officers regarding client eligibility and access for VA Healthcare, Compensation, and Pension benefits.
- Serves as the primary liaison with NCServes and update database as appropriate as well as develop reports to identify services provided, service gaps and effectiveness of programs to help veterans reach greater independence.
- Compiles and maintains list of community resources for assistance and services to meet the myriad of complex needs presented by returning veterans.
- Provides educational opportunities for interns, as well as maintaining database of activities they participate in.
- Performs presentations in the community to raise awareness of veteran issues.
- Serves on committees within the county and community that directly affect veterans and their families
