LOW / NO CONTACT FOOD DISTRIBUTION GUIDE

Download MANNA's Guide to Low-To-No Contact Food Distribution.

Walking you through the process of updating your food distribution based on safe best practices during COVID-19.
SAFE DISTRIBUTION QUICK TIP:

During a drive-through distribution set food boxes on a curbside table and ask the client to put in their own car or trunk. This keeps staff/ volunteers from touching client's cars.

Client cannot physically lift the food box? Simply ask them to open the trunk or car door, step away, and allow staff or volunteer to place in car. The client can then close the trunk or car door. A contact-free distribution!

KEEP MANNA UPDATED
Many communities and county governments are asking us to direct people seeking food resources to the appropriate agency. To that end it is imperative that you communicate your pantry status and any changes to operations with MANNA as frequently as possible.

  • Have you changed you distribution dates or hours of distribution?
  • Will you be shifting to a different style of food distribution? (Example: Drive through or pre-boxed food)
  • Do you need volunteers from the community?

Communicate any and all changes with your Zone Coordinator or our Agency Relations Coordinator or simply reply to this email.
