Salaam Alaikum
Alhamdulillah, our community witnessed something that was truly remarkable this past Sunday. We saw a community that came together to pack a reception hall with more than 350 seats to simply give back to the community and to collectively help open the next chapter for SIJNY.
With the grace of Allah (swt), we were able to raise more than $500,000 on Oct 7th 2018 and with the generous help of the matching donors, the final total for the night took us past $800,000. This however is only our local collection. With the assistance of our generous international donors, our total collection to date is approx $1.2M.
This amount is no easy feat to raise and the blessings of the Almighty were with us all that night to help us with this project.
On behalf of the New Project Committee, I would like to personally thank each and everyone who was able to attend the event and those who were able to contribute for this project. Your support will ensure a bright future for our community - especially our children, who are the true benefactors of your generosity.

I would also like to express my gratitude to our fundraising leads, Br. Abbas Dewjiani (domestic) and Br. Sajjad Dinani (international) for their tireless efforts in securing the necessary funding we needed for the project. May Allah (swt) reward them for their efforts and may He bless them, the donors and their collective families with eternal blessings.
Our immediate next task is to now finalize the contract and start the construction as soon as humanly possible. Inshallah, in the next few days, we will be providing you with detailed updates as the project progresses towards completion.
