CAASPP 101: Mathematics Grades 3-11

Come and learn how to use all the components of the Smarter Balanced Assessment System to support teaching and learning!

Participants will deepen their understanding of the Smarter Balanced Assessment System by exploring Digital Library resources, learning how to effectively use Interim Assessment and Accessibility resources, and by making sense of the CAASPP Summative Assessment results.  Participants will learn how to use these resources effectively all year long—not just for the test, but to truly prepare students for the 21st century.

Session highlights include:

•   Using the Digital Library effectively

•   Creating a practical approach to using the Interim Assessments

•    Learning how to hand score Interim Assessments

•    Analyzing and interpreting Summative Assessment results

•    Matching student needs to available Accessibility Resources

This is comprehensive professional learning for implementing all components of the Smarter Balanced Assessment System.

We encourage classroom teachers, instructional coaches, and site and district administrators to attend.
