Today, I'm sharing some information from our Magna 20-Minute Webinars. I have been featuring webinars and today I thought I would share some information from an actual webinar. In the last newsletter, I shared an article from the Chronicle by Flower Darby titled "How to be a Better Online Teacher" and in our Magna Webinar Series there is a webinar from guess who.......Flower Darby titled "How Can I Become a Better Online Instructor?"

Take a look at the screenshot above. When you select the webinar you want to view you will get access to a pdf of a "note-taking guide", "Transcript", "Supplemental Materials" and a "Certificate of Completion".

The Magna 20-Minute Webinar is a valuable tool and I want to encourage you to take full advantage. Here's the accessing information:

Accessing Webinars:

These licensed Magna resources are available through a password-protected website. For access, faculty need to:
  • Log into MSU’s employee portal;
  • Look under the My Classes (Blackboard) section for the Magna Training Site;
  • If Magna isn't showing up in your list of courses, please send a request to be added to [email protected].
  • When you click on the Magna Training Site, the Blackboard shell will open. Please note, you will be asked to submit a "Terms of Use" agreement before viewing any webinars.

Okay, get into the Magna Training Site, select what you want to investigate, watch, take notes, and let me know if I can help the cause.
