Message from the President Re: COVID-19
As is true of all of our lives and our institutions, NYCPM has been affected by and is responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. First and foremost, our responses are guided by our concern with the health and well-being of our students, patients, faculty and staff, as well as by our focus on the ongoing successful education of all of our students.
In that regard, all student education continues online; testing is online. Our library, a great student resource, functions online as well. NYCPM faculty and students still care for patients through a limited FCNY schedule, and via limited hospital rotations.
We urge you to visit the homepage of our website, www.nycpm.edu, to read the latest updates of the College’s responses. Please stay safe and stay well.

2020’s Outstanding Match Performance Acknowledged
The NYCPM Class of 2020 had a remarkable showing in the national residency match; all but one student matched on day one (one other student was withdrawn). By the end of MP II, all eligible students were matched. According to
Michael J. Trepal, DPM, FACFAS,
VP of Academic Affairs and Dean, he “is certain that every eligible student will have a program.” The March 20 ceremony during which students learn with which program they have matched was cancelled due to coronavirus requirements for social distancing, but Dr. Trepal expressed the hope that the class will celebrate in the near future.
