Message for Hogg Families From the Principal
Hogg's @H.O.M.E. Learning
Hogg administrators and teachers are working hard to bring our Hogg families learning opportunities that have value.  (see website https://www.houstonisd.org/Page/2535)

Have students log into their Google Classroom and check for assignments posted by their Hogg teachers. Hogg understands that families are sharing devices and internet. Students will be given assignments and due dates allowing for flexibility and time to complete those assignments.

E-books at Home
How to log into MYON - an excellent source of great e-books!

For 6-12th grade use this URL  https://www.myon.com/school/houstonreads
School Name: Houston Reads
Username: myon
Password: read

For K-5th grade, access MYON through  https://www.houstonisd.org/Page/180238 and use your HISD login. (In case you have kids or have families with multiple grade levels.)

Our Hogg students cannot login to Myon from the HUB. They cannot login to Myon through the HISD @Home webpage. They must use the link at the top of this email. Please post to your LA classes! The information was put in the Razorback today. Thank you Ms. Saenz for poking me early to try to solve this! It is complicated because Myon is a purchase for some schools and free because of COVID for other schools.
Watch Hoggzilla News to Connect with the Hogg Family
Ms. J gave us a heartfelt message, Scout taught us to how to jump through a Hoola Hoop and Ms. Bravo’s little girl participated in the Post It Note challenge.  Morning Announcements bring us together in this time of isolation!  This coming week the Hoggzilla Media Team is taking over! Krista from Student Council will have message from the Affirmation Committee, students will talk about how to access ebooks and the game challenges will continue! There is so much to look forward to in future announcements: talent show information, videos submitted by students, and shout outs from sports groups, clubs and teachers. Morning announcements are not to be missed!  https://www.houstonisd.org/domain/44450
