STORIES

The Stillwater Chamber of Commerce encourages continued education post high school graduation. This year, the Chamber offered Stillwater High School students the opportunity to vie for a $500 scholarship to further their education, and senior Spencer Carter became the first to receive this scholarship.

"Stillwater’s workforce is the fuel that will propel our community forward," said Justin Minges, Chamber President and CEO. "The Chamber wanted to invest in Stillwater’s future, and there is no better way to do this than educating the next generation. Our hope is Spencer will remain in our community and continue to make it a better place."

Congratulations, Spencer! Read more about him here.
