Onset Updates

Back in June we shared news of the  Meridian rollout within South Australia Water, with reference to the  regional training being conducted throughout the state. We're pleased to announce that the EDMS (Engineering Drawing Management System), incorporating Meridian, went live on 31 July, delivering 300 thousand drawings to 750 users. Additionally, external contractors can now upload using the As-Built Portal.

Onset Design has enjoyed working closely with the SA Water project team (pictured) and appreciates their dedicated efforts and professionalism in achieving this major milestone together.

We continue to rollout Meridian 2018 upgrades, now in progress with Qenos, NRG, Dyno Nobel, University of Melbourne, Outotec and New Zealand Aluminium Smelters.

We're also proud to announce our involvement as a partner in the Sydney Water Customer Experience Project (CxP), a  journey  to the production cutover of the world's largest S/4 HANA  utilities implementation. Meridian integrates with several enterprise systems at Sydney Water, including Maximo and SAP, as well as a number of in-house applications. Sydney Water is Australia's largest water and wastewater provider.

TEMC 2018

A big thanks to all those who made the time to catch up with us at the recent TEMC in Perth.

Please get in touch if you'd like to learn more about our cloud or on-premise Meridian solutions for the tertiary education sector, including our special, discounted TEMC 2018 offer
for universities.

We appreciate that academic campus facilities face special challenges in the accumulation of facility information over decades and even centuries. Campus facility managers must make it easy for users to shape, drive, manage and effectively control their facility data.

Tasked with managing everything from record drawings and BIM, to technical reports, specifications, design standards, construction photos, and more, educational facilities face challenges with security, user access and archiving.

Facilities must manage their technical documents effectively during the Design & Construction project phase and archive them correctly as part of the project workflow, otherwise this provides a major challenge for Operations & Maintenance departments attempting to use these documents after project handover.

Education facilities require a purpose-built system to effectively manage all types of facility data and documents, including legacy information in outdated formats. Meridian supports the work of facility owners by integrating with all major design and office applications.

The Meridian software is in place to manage facility data and documents at the University of Melbourne, Curtin and Griffith Universities.

Meridian 2018 R2

A reminder that the Meridian 2018 R2 release is now available and includes support for the Autodesk 2019 products, including AutoCAD, Inventor and Revit. The Release Notes describe several pages of improvements for Meridian Power (Power Web) and Explorer.

Please contact us if you'd like to receive more information or discuss an upgrade.
