A beautiful and intimate space, where we can kick off our shoes, let our hair down, solve the world's problems, bond in our sisterhood, relax and just be Dolls. About Apartment D: One afternoon post my annual Big Hat Brunch,  circa 2009, a group of Dolls and I ended up on a couch in the bar at "Social Vinings".  Respectfully debating how to handle badly behaving men, politics and any other ole topic that came up, we so enjoyed each other's wisdom, opinions and company, it was suggested that I create an ongoing event that catered to a Doll's ability to "speak freely" about the trials, tribulations and triumphs of her life - not as a Black Doll - as a black woman.  With a slogan of "What happens in the Dungeon, stays in the Dungeon", they suggested I call it the "Doll Dungeon".  Finding that a bit dark, with the slogan of "Dolling, discerning and dynamic",  I'm happy to present to you, "Apartment D."
