On Friday, May 11th the 2018 Leadership Plant City Class was honored at a graduation ceremony held at St Peter's Episcopal Church. After nine months of leadership training the class was given certificates celebrating their success and growth throughout the program.

On Thursday, May 4th The Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Brick City Bricks located at 107 E. Reynolds Street! "Brick City Bricks is your local new and used Lego® brick store and so much more. We are sure to have what you need! We buy sell and trade anything Lego®. We offer birthday parties, camps, monthly builds and lots of special brick building events."

On Thursday, May 31st The Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for new member Frogs Floor Care. Since 1992 Frogs Floor Care has been excited to serve all of West Central Florida. They provide cleaning services for all floor types as well as upholstery cleaning for both residential and commercial properties.

Starting on June 1st, a new membership structure will be rolled out to all Plant City Chamber members. This new structure focuses on providing increased member value for you so that we can continue to foster an environment that is pro-business here in Plant City. On your renewal date, you will be sent a letter explaining the new investment structure in detail and the options available to you.
Instead of paying dues based on the number of employees you have, you will now be able to select a membership package, a la carte, based on the benefits that are important to you. If you have questions for us before your renewal date, feel free to reach out to any one on the team. We're happy to explain your options and help you pick the best plan for your and your business.

Leadership Nominations Now Open
|
|
Nominations for Leadership Plant City are now being accepted. Leadership Plant City is an annual course organized by the Chamber to develop long-term leadership in the community. Leadership Nominations will be accepted through Friday, June 29th and from the list of nominations, 12 program participants will be selected.
The 2019 program dates are September 21 though May 17, 2019. If you know a rising leader in our community, please take a moment to
nominate them now.

Downtown Is Getting A Facelift
|
|
Starting on June 4th, the City will begin maintenance work in downtown. The affected area will be south of Baker Street, east of Wheeler Street, west of Palmer Street, and to the railroad tracks south of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
We ask for your patience during this time as workers will be pressure washing sidewalks, restriping streets and parking spaces, and installing greenery in the planters on Evers Street.
