Writer in Residence Survey
Last fall, the Arts Council ~ Haliburton Highlands held the first Literary Arts Roundtable with writers from across the County. The writers listed several goals/wants for the community of writers in Haliburton -- one of those goals is to bring in a writer in residence to mentor and offer feedback. The Literary Arts Roundtable is excited to confirm that the Writer in Residence subcommittee has secured funding from the Haliburton County Development Corp to bring in a skilled author to work with the writers in our community.

We want to invite the best possible writer to serve in this important role and in order to ensure that we need your input. A writer in residence works with other writers to be a mentor, offer feedback and deliver programs to further those writers in their personal and professional development. Please complete this short survey as soon as you can and please share this email and link with any and all writers, and aspiring writers. We will need responses by June 20.

Please help us to help writers. We respect participants' privacy and individual feedback is not shared publicly. In addition, names are not known unless participants choose to provide it. We ask for email addresses for admin purposes only.

Thanks for your support. If you or anyone else has any questions, please contact Ruth Walker walkwrite@sympatico.ca  or Renee Woltz  renee.woltz@gmail.com  -- There will be a link to the survey posted directly on the Arts Council's website.
