Vaping 101
Did you know that there are more youth now than ever before vaping? But, what is vaping? It involves inhaling vapor that includes particles that contain chemicals, which have been linked to cancer, as well as respiratory and heart disease. The Crown JUUL of Vaping
It is something that is easy to hide from teachers and parents alike, as it is easily mistaken for a simple USB Flash Drive. However, these devices contain a large amount of nicotine, with a single pod containing roughly the same amount of nicotine as one pack of cigarettes. More information on JUUL can be found here.


Targeting Our Youth?

Smurf Sauce, V'Nilla Cookies and Milk, Sour Worms, and Warheads...all sound like delicious sweets that youth love to eat, right? Did you know that these are the names being used for current vaping products being sold? Vaping companies are intentionally marketing their products towards attracting younger audiences to vaping! Check out how much exposure our youth have to vaping ads and marketing here.
Nicotine and the Developing Brain
Did you know that the brain is not fully developed until the age of 25? When youth are exposed to nicotine it can harm the development of their brain. Did you know that nicotine is something that is used in vaping? Lets start talking to our youth more about the harms of vaping.
