May 2020 Monthly Minutes
A Message from Child Care Aware of NH
Hello Providers,

Child Care Aware of NH powered by Southern New Hampshire Services would like thank to all of you for your services to NH children and families during this crisis. It is amazing to watch how the field has come together to support each other and the families we serve. We respect and applaud you!

We have been charged with collecting information on the pulse of early childhood and afterschool programs. We are looking for the status of Child Care Programs being opened, closed, reopening and the number of vacancies available. In light of this, we created two emergency child care lines for programs to call and keep us abreast of their status: (603) 578-1386, ext. 2528 and ext. 2533 or toll free (855)-393-1731, ext. 2528 and ext. 2533.

Due to social distancing, we reshaped how we are offering professional development. See below for more information on what online professional development opportunities we will be offering in May and June. We have also reorganized how we are offering our Collaboratives. For more information look below in our Collaborative section.

In order to help promote our services, we have created a few new documents. The Child Care Search Magnet is a feature that will help businesses support their employees through the use of CCAoNH services in finding child care. In addition, we have created a flyer to help market our Alternative Child Care Options: Child Care Match. This is a tool that allows individuals who want to work during COVID-19 to get their name on a list for families and programs that need staff. See below for more details about each of these.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for every thing you do for families and children. We hope that you enjoy this month's edition of Monthly Minutes.
