We have been notified of the March 4, 2018 death of Richard (Mark) Spoor, 89, husband of the Rev. Franck de Chambeau, in Rancho Mirage, CA.

Mark lived a wonderful life filled with spiritual discoveries, travel and a career that included publishing and library science. Mark was the Director of the Burke Library and a member of the faculty at Union Theological Seminary until his retirement in 1994. Following his retirement he was called as Director of the Scoville Memorial Library in Salisbury, CT.

A service for the Celebration of Mark's life was held on Saturday, March 17 at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, Palm Desert, CA. Memorial contributions in Mark's name may be sent to the Eisenhower Foundation, 39000 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270
