Helping Our Most Vulnerable Neighbors
Our Community Recreation staff has been working nonstop contacting our most vulnerable residents in Coral Gables. They are now checking on more than 1,000 residents to ensure they are safe and informed. Residents who are elderly or in need of assistance will get a courtesy phone call from City staff. If they don’t respond to the call, our dedicated firefighters will visit them at home to ensure their wellbeing. We will continue to check on these residents; they are not alone during these challenging times.
