Kaiser Aluminum’s Trentwood facility in Spokane County, founded in 1946, is an important part of the supply chain in Aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications, and an integral part of the Spokane community for the past 70 years.
Participants will receive an overview of Kaiser Aluminum’s operations, followed by a tour of their impressive production facilities that play an important role in supporting Washington State’s growing aerospace economy.
Time: 2:30pm- 5:00pm
Fee: $15 USD

Over 5,200 active duty Air Force, Air National Guard, and tenant organization military and civilian employees work on Fairchild, making the base the largest employer in Eastern Washington. Fairchild's annual economic impact on the Spokane Community is approximately $427 million, constituting 13 percent of the local economy.
Attendees will be given a tour of the base's facilities and learn more about the important role the vase plays in the local economy.
Fee: $25 USD
NOTE: Due to strict security requirements, all participants must be registered to attend by June 8. Attendees will be asked to provide their social security number in advance for security clearance. All attendees will need to bring their passport with them on the tour for access to the base.

Columbia River Treaty Study Tour: Grand Coulee Dam
|
Date: Wednesday, July 25
Time: 2 pm- 9pm
Fee: $25 USD
|
|
This half day tour will feature a special tour of the dam, with the chance to hear from local community members speaking on the importance of the Dam to Eastern Washington's economy and ecosystem.
*Please note: participants will need to bring passport/photo ID to attend this tour (more details to follow)

Columbia River Treaty Study Tour: British Columbia
|
Date: July 26- July 27
Fee: $100 USD
|
|
This two day tour will take participants to a number of significant sites along the Columbia River on both sides of the border, and will feature insights from leading experts on recommendations for modernizing the Treaty.
Further details will be announced later but the tour will be from July 26-27: Thursday, departing Spokane at 7 a.m. and arriving back on Friday at around 5 p.m.

Saskatchewan & Alberta Capital Visits

PNWER Officers and staff had a productive visit to Saskatchewan with individual meetings with six different ministers and the Premier and several other leaders in the legislature.
In Alberta, PNWER delegates had the chance to meet with a variety of different groups.
