May 2018 Newsletter
Developed by Habitat and Lowe’s, National Women Build Week is a unique opportunity where women can join other women to build decent and affordable homes with Habitat homeowners.

“All efforts of the week were a time to pause and remind ourselves that everyone is welcome, women and men, with all different backgrounds, races and religions. It’s a perfect week to show that Habitat is walking the talk,” says Jen Kephart, Volunteer Services & Program Manager for HFHGC.
About 80 volunteers gathered on Wednesday, May 9th for Lowe’s Women Build Day to kick off construction at 1503 St. Clair in Mt. Healthy for future homeowner Traci and her sons. There was high energy and excitement as Traci, her mom, and dozens of volunteers pieced together the house.
