Effective March 23, 2020: In accordance with Governor Larry Hogan's directive to close all non-essential offices at 5:00pm on March 23, 2020 until further notice, the Maryland Center for the Arts' administrative office at 2830 Suite D Churchville Road in Churchville, MD will be closed until further notice as of 5pm today. 2020 Dancing for the Arts Postponed to June 4
In accordance with Governor Larry Hogan's directive to prohibit mass gatherings of more than 10 people (re: COVID-19), the Maryland Center for the Arts has postponed the Dancing for the Arts Gala
to  Thursday, June 4, 2020
 It still will be held at the Delta Hotels Hunt Valley, from 6:30pm-11:30pm; with the Sponsor Reception at 6pm.

Call for Artists! Entry deadline April 30, 2020
Submit your art entry to be juried into the week-long competition: the 6th Annual Harford Plein Air Painting Festival sponsored by Maryland Center for the Arts, scheduled for Sept 14-19, 2020. 30 juried artists will paint outdoor scenes of Harford County for top prizes and gallery sales in the Town of Bel Air.

Applying artists must be age 18 or older, must pay the $35 entry fee, and submit images following the Harford Plein Air entry instructions. Submitted artwork should be ones that were created outdoors without the use of photographs, using acrylics, oils, watercolors, or pastels. Entry Deadline is April 30, 2020.
