DHC needs to increase the support we provide local families

Can you help?
The Coronavirus is having a dramatic impact on our daily lives. Now more than ever we all understand access to healthcare is critical.

Unfortunately, our patients are disproportionately impacted by the economics of this pandemic. Many of our members work for temporary staffing agencies, in the food service sector, in the gig economy as domestics and landscapers and uber drivers. For our members, when they lose their jobs or clients, many won’t qualify for additional benefits. We are working to increase the aid we provide, reducing the out of pocket costs for medications for those who need the help, and increasing the number of families we serve through Silver Access.

With a donation to DHC you can make a tangible difference at a critical time. Help us keep open the doors to health access. What comes next is uncertain and likely difficult, but we will get through this together. #HealthierTogether
A Special Thank You to the
Heroes Among Us
Our hearts and thoughts go out to all of those affected by this current public health crisis. We want to extend special thanks to our exceptional volunteer providers, who make our programs possible and who are all working diligently to keep our community healthy. Our health care workers and first responders are on the frontlines right now and we hold them in our thoughts. Our gratitude for their work is limitless.
Our important work coordinating access to healthcare continues
We are still here to help!

Like so many of our partners, DHC has made recent changes to the ways we conduct business to maximize the safety of our patients and staff.  Click here to read more about our COVID-19 response plan.

Most importantly, please know that we continue to enroll eligible families in all of our health safety net services (Access DuPage and Silver Access) and our free pharmacy (DuPage Dispensary of Hope) remains open to serve the uninsured. We join our local hospitals and health care partners in working to make sure that everyone can receive vital services. It’s more important than ever to make sure that every DuPage County resident has treatment options outside of our local emergency rooms.
We are also working diligently to provide credible guidance about COVID-19 and community resources for vulnerable families on our Facebook page. If you haven’t already done so, please consider liking us to see and share those updates. Click here to join us .

If we can be an aid to you and the communities you serve during this time, please don’t hesitate to reach out. And please stay safe.
