Join us for a Work Bee Making Signs for the Pride Parade
. We will once again be showing our support for the LGBTQ community by marching in the Pride Parade on Saturday June 9th. There is a signup sheet on the back wall so we know approximately how many walkers we will have. On Wednesday May 30th at 1:00 p.m., there will be a work bee to make signs to carry in the parade. Please join us.

Metaphysical Psychic Potluck Dinner.
The next psychic potluck is on Thursday, May 31st at 6:00 p.m. Bring a potluck dish, enjoy a fabulous dinner. There will be a variety of readers and you will receive two mini readings. Tickets are $20 plus a potluck dish and you can reserve your spot at the information table on Sunday. You can also call or email the office to reserve your spot or pick up a ticket at our next network meetup.

Unity Annual Treasure Sale

It's Time for Unity's Annual 'Treasure Sale' to be held, Friday, June 1st 5:00-8:00 pm, & Saturday June 2nd, 9am-2pm.
You are invited to participate in our annual "Treasure Sale". Bring your gently used treasures, which you no longer need, for our "Treasure Sale" and help support Unity. Please do not bring any electronics or other items that are no longer working or are soiled or broken. This is a 'treasure sale'. Thank you for your participation. Items can be brought to the church on Sunday mornings before service or to the office Wednesday morning and Thursday all day. We are looking for volunteers to help us with this event. .If you would love to volunteer, call or email the office or contact Liane.

This is a rare opportunity to get to know your animal companion on a whole other level. Since 2002, Michele Jarvis- Wonnacott has been inundated with behavioural challenges in thousands of dogs, cats and horses by people surrounding the globe. Michele owned and operated the number one dog training company in Victoria BC and has helped over 7000 pets to be heard and understood. For years the owners, Veterinarians, biofeedback testing and animal Chiropractors have confirmed her results over and over again.
At this time Michele is in the process of publishing books on a few subjects on sharing your life with dogs.
One of those books includes a work- book called 'I Give Your Permission To Grieve, from the dog'.
Yes dogs from the other side have many messages to share with you as well.

On the 2nd Wednesday evening of each month, join us as we honour Unity members who are volunteering with other agencies and their colleagues.
This month, Wednesday, June 13, at 7:00p.m. join Ev. Schmidt and Stella Lima and other volunteers with "Spuds & Duds" as they outline the work they do in the community.
This is an opportunity to learn about other service groups and the volunteer opportunities they offer as we host this social evening and honour their contribution to our community and our world. Everyone is welcome to this free event. You may, of course, make a donation to the charity of the month if you wish and you may feel inspired to help in their work but this primarily an evening of socializing and appreciation.

. Lisa has been a practicing metaphysical teacher and energy healer for over twenty years. She is a Reiki Master/Teacher, certified Polarity Therapist, and Creative Visualization Coach. Lisa is professionally trained as a group facilitator, and provides guided meditation in areas such as forgiveness, gratitude, abundance, healing the inner child, and past life regression. She has a passion for helping others to reach their greatest potential and works to help others identify their innate wisdom and gifts and to use them to build a fulfilling and purposeful life.

Q Points
Unity of Nanaimo collects Q points. Cards are available at the information table with Unity's Q-card number, or you can transfer points to Unity Church of Nanaimo at the Customer Service Desk. Points are used to buy turkeys for the Christmas hampers prepared by Unity Centre of Nanaimo.
Bottle Recycling for Unity. Individuals can now take their bottle returns to The Return It depot on Hayes Rd and ask that their refund be credited to the Unity account.
