New Process! Sports Physicals Paperwork to be Completed Online |
Students wishing to participate in athletics or marching band during the 2018-2019 school year must submit the following paperwork online:
- PIAA Physical Form
- Athlete & Parent Agreement
- ImPACT Test
Students wishing to play any sport during the 2018-2019 school year MUST verify the paperwork is on file with Mr. Hayek no later than
Wednesday, August 1
, at 3 PM; no exceptions.
NEW!! PLEASE NOTE THIS IMPORTANT CHANGE
The York Catholic Athletic Department now hosts their Athletic Forms online with Arbiter Athlete, powered by PlanetHS, a software company committed to keeping student(s) safe. This digital platform will allow parents and athletes to complete and access most athletic forms (physicals, agreements, etc.) via computer, tablet, or mobile phone. It is HIPPA, COPPA, and FERPA compliant.
York Catholic will continue to host Sports Physicals at OSS Health on Powder Mill Road Thursday, June 7, from 6-7:30 PM. Cost is $15. Instead of printing 9 pages of information to take to the doctor as was needed previously, you will instead complete the information online and only print 2 pages for the doctor to review and complete.
Before forms can be completed by parent and student, ArbiterAthlete accounts must be set-up by each athlete and his or her parent. Click here for instructions on how to set-up an account. Forms will be valid for the entire 2018-2019 school year.
Failure to complete the online paperwork by the deadline will mean the student will not be permitted to practice the first day of the season. For some sports, this could mean the student will not make the team. Contact Mr. Hayek at
[email protected]
or 717-846-8871 x244 if you have any questions and to be sure you have a valid ImPACT Test on file.
If you need technical assistance with Arbiter Athlete/PlanetHS, email
[email protected].

York Catholic Junior, Ethan Underwood, achieved the rank of Eagle Scout this past spring. He is a member of Boy Scout Troop 198 in Etters, PA and completed his Eagle project at Holy Infant Parish in Manchester, PA. Ethan organized and led a year-long project to create a Mary Devotional Area. Several students from York Catholic assisted with the work. The project included removing over 400 square feet of sod and replacing it with 7 tons of river rock, then creating a single decade of the rosary with stepping stones surrounding the statue of Mary. He raised the statue to a more reverent height, added a spotlight, and added mulch and plantings throughout the devotional area. He also included the St. Francis statue in the space and provided 2 benches for people to meditate and pray. Congratulations Ethan!
