Sadly, the annual Recognition Tea that was scheduled for May 17th has been cancelled.   We look forward to the Tea each year and are sorry to have to cancel the event, but we feel this decision is in everyone's best interest at this time.

In other news, we're thrilled to participate in  Hudson Valley Gives  again this year!  Mark your calendars to support the library on this exciting day of community-wide online giving to be held on  May 20th!

Sarah Reading Picture Books
Sarah is reading a picture book a few times a week. These are also on our Facebook page.

To Market, To Market by Anne Miranda, illustrated by Janet Stevens.
Read with permission from Harcourt Press.

King Bidgood's in the Bathtub by Audrey Wood. Illustrated by Don Wood. Read with permission from Harcourt Press.
Julianna Reading "Half Magic," a Chapter Book
A reading by Julianna of Half Magic by Edward Eager. This is an enchanting story about four siblings who find a magical coin. There is a problem - the coin only grants half wishes so the siblings must always wish for twice as much, which causes double the trouble. Set in the 1930's, but just as funny today. This is also on our website.
Read  with permission from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
