Tech Workshop: Animation and Graphics with Python
Saturday, June 2, 10 am - 1 pm
 
Do you like to use your creativity to design problems and find solutions? Then you might have a future in Computer Science! In this workshop, girls in grades 5 and up will learn how to create computer graphics and animated figures/ objects using Python in Calico. The program is facilitated by Kaylee Kohfeldt, a software development engineer at Audible. She studied information systems at the University of Florida and previously held 2 separate engineering positions at JPMorgan Chase. 

**Please bring your own laptop and install Calico prior to the workshop.

Introduction to Computers
   Tuesday, June 5, 10 - 11 am

This workshop is for people who have never used a computer, or are not yet comfortable working on one. This hands-on training session will provide a less intimidating way for people to learn various parts of the computer, commonly used terminology, how to use a mouse and more.

With Cresskill Library Card, Cresskill residents have access to online database to serve all levels of investors, from beginners to experts, with a range of dynamic tools to help you make more informed investment decisions.
It includes an interactive classroom to teach basic and advanced stock and fund portfolio techniques while special reports cover key topics spanning from retirement to the basics of exchange- traded funds and options.
       
BCCLS is Migrating from CloudLibrary to Overdrive!
 
Effective by the end of May 8th, content will no longer be available from CloudLibrary as BCCLS transfers its eBooks and eAudiobooks to a new vendor. Effective May 9th, this content will be available on OverDrive and will be accessible via the new Libby app or from ebccls.overdrive.com.
       
 TD Bank Affinity Membership Program

The Friends of Cresskill Library have also partnered with TD Bank to provide an easy way to raise money for the library. Library patrons can visit the TD Bank and find out more about the Affinity Membership Program when they open a new account and inform their TD Bank Representative that they are affiliated with Cresskill Library (Code AH590). Existing TD Bank customers can enroll too. All information regarding participating accounts will be kept confidential.
     
ConnectOne Bank Affinity Program
 
The Friends of Cresskill Library have partnered with ConnectOne Bank which will make annual donations through their Affinity Program. There is no cost involved to join the Affinity Program. Contributions are based on a percentage of the total balances that members and supporters of Friends of Cresskill Library have on deposit. Account balances or any other personal information for clients supporting the Friends of Library will be kept confidential.
