Dear Fellow Christ Church Parishioners,

We want you to be assured that Christ Church is actively responding to this crisis. We have been blessed with resources to lead response efforts both within and outside our parish community. Our leadership is made possible through the generosity of our parishioners, who have never failed to meet the needs of the Church as we seek to Love God, Care for Each Other, and Serve the World together. And now, in the midst of the great uncertainty that COVID-19 has presented for our community, our country, and the world, your continued, consistent stewardship will be more important than ever.

Please know that Christ Church is very much open for business and will be more active than ever as we meet the needs of our community during this most challenging time. We may not be gathering for worship and programming, but all of our staff is hard at work as we respond to ever-changing needs.

With the suspension of in-person worship services, and the potential for that to continue for some time, we want to remind everyone of the various ways to contribute in the absence of the Sunday offering plate.
  • Gifts by check may be mailed to 1412 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC 28207. However, given the potential for disruption or delay in normal mail delivery, we encourage all to consider alternative payment methods.

  • Automatic Bank Draft
(Complete form, print, sign, and mail to the Church.)
These methods are further explained on the Church website at www.christchurchcharlotte.org/payoptions . If you have any questions, please contact Wendy Mauney, Parish Administrator, at mauneyw@christchurchcharlotte.org or 704-714-6953.

Although our parish maintains reserves to accommodate seasonal swings in our receipts, a more significant decline in weekly and monthly funding will strain our ability to support the very ministries that are in the greatest need at this time. To ensure we are equipped to meet these needs we ask for your continued weekly support, if you are able.

We also recognize that many people are struggling to make ends meet during this crisis, and understand that some will not be able to give at this time.

In this most extraordinary season, we pray for the health and wellbeing of our entire parish family. Christ Church remains our Spiritual Home and is leaning in to meet God's call. We are very grateful for your generosity which has carried Christ Church through many difficult periods. With faith and courage and God's continued blessing, we will emerge ever stronger.

With gratitude,
The Christ Church Vestry
