This photo of our Bishop W. Francis Malooly with our Holy Father, Pope Francis, was given to Madilynn Frey by Bishop Malooly when he visited our school on May 16th. We enjoyed a wonderful visit with the Bishop. We are blessed to have a Bishop who cares so deeply for Catholic School education. May our Lord continue to bless Bishop Malooly in his episcopacy.

FACTS TUITION RE-ENROLLMENT

Most Blessed Sacrament is once again using the FACTS Payment Program. You will soon be receiving information from FACTS Tuition about the re-enrollment process. Your original agreement authorizes FACTS to roll over your information from one year to the next. Please be aware that no payments or fees will come out of your account until after the tuition rates have been added. You will need to contact FACTS  if you wish to change your method of payment, your plan name and/or your address. If you want to make any changes to whether you pay quarterly, monthly or in full, please return the FACTS document to the school As Soon As Possible. We will be adding the tuition rates to each account after June 1, which will complete the process. Changes to enrollment status will be made at that time.

ALL FAMILIES MUST BE ENROLLED IN FACTS BEFORE JUNE 1! In order for payments to run 10 months, FACTS must have the information a full month in advance.

Should you select the one time payment plan and DO NOT make the payment by September 1st, MBS will automatically change your plan to a 10 month schedule and you will be charged a fee.

COUNSELING CORNER
This week I meet with grades 3, 4, and 5!  We did a reflective activity from our past year.  Each student made a poster to hang in their room with key phrases of things we talked about this year.  We discussed using this as a reminder to continue working all summer on many of the things we talk about through the year.  Some key points they brought up were:  Be Kind, Love, Be Safe, Be Positive, Talk to Trusted Adults, and so on.  On the other side of their poster they started a Summer Bucket List.  We discussed goals to encourage connecting to friends and family and putting down devices.  Parents, please help your child work on these goals and reminders!

LIBRARY CORNER
The Delmarva Shorebirds "Hit the Books" tickets were distributed to those students who turned in their bookmarks.  Please note each student who participated received two upper reserved ticket vouchers.  Please see the directions included with the tickets for redemption instructions.  With the new seating at the ballpark installed in 2017, students must redeem their voucher for a ticket before entering the game.  The game night for MBS is Friday, May 25th, 2018.  Game time is 7:05 PM and gates will open at 6 PM.

Please help your child find any lost library books or submit money for payment.  We will continue book checkout through the end of May for students who have returned all of their books.  Please email [email protected] with any questions.  Thank you.

SPECIAL HOUR OF PRAYER BEFORE THE BLESSED SACRAMENT
FOR THE PEACEFUL OUTCOME OF THE MEETING
BETWEEN PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP AND NORTH KOREAN LEADER KIM JONG-UN

MONDAY, JUNE 11, AT 7 PM, IN THE ST. JUDE PARISH CHAPEL

"Peace on Earth" hangs much in the balance in our time - especially among near and far eastern nations, like North Korea, whose ominously emergent nuclear capabilities and militant antagonisms threaten humanity with cataclysmic global catastrophe.

This historic meeting of President Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un, therefore, can prove decisive for the containment of such hostile and deadly armament and for the greater assurance of security and peace for all humanity.

The meeting of the leaders is planned for Tuesday, June 12, in Singapore, whose time zone is twelve hours ahead of ours. We will, therefore, hold our vigil on Monday, June 11, at 7 pm, our time, which would adequately anticipate the meeting in Singapore whether it occurs earlier or later on Tuesday, Singapore time - while taking place at a time here in Lewes convenient for participants.

In earnest response to Our Lady of Fatima's ardent plea for prayer, especially the Rosary, "to obtain peace for the world and the end of war," please plan to spend an hour in supplication, along with other prayerful brethren, before the Real Eucharistic Presence of Jesus - Lord of Heaven and Earth - to beseech His sovereign intervention that there be "on earth, peace to men of good will."

Vision Statement

Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic School provides rigorous and technologically relevant instruction that is intentionally integrated with Catholic identity.  Together, as Pastors, administrators, teachers and parents, we nurture the development of the mind, the body, and the soul, in each of our students.  Our students are able to make sound decisions based upon the teachings of Jesus Christ and modeled upon the lives of the saints.  As a faith and learning community, we teach students a passion for the truth and a love for discovery and knowledge. Our students are prepared to relate their Catholic faith to their culture and actively live their faith as members of the greater community.
