We have been contacted by so many Guests to offer words of support and encouragement and to enquire about our Co Workers and their families in the BVI. Many of you have contributed to charities or are organizing your own special way of showing love and support. We can't begin to thank you for your thoughtfulness. There are so many of you that have expressed to us why the BVI is special to you and your stories are emotional and heartfelt. You have shared your unwavering commitment to continue enjoying your sailing vacations and enjoy all the magic that the BVI has to offer. The Catamaran Company remains equally as committed to all of you for the upcoming season.
Currently The Catamaran Company has new boats on order that are on their way from Lagoon Factory in France and Fort Lauderdale headed for Tortola base for arrival in November.
The following boats are brand new boats are available in Tortola, BVI
- Lagoon 42 - "NewBie"
- Lagoon 42 - "Awol"
- Lagoon 42 - "Knotty Dreamer II"
- Lagoon 42 - "Ish"
- Lagoon 42 - "Bang Bang Lulu"
- Lagoon 450 - "Peace out"
- Lagoon 450 - "Rum-Away"
New boat orders are also in process and will be confirmed shortly.
In addition we are in the process of arranging for the following boats to return to BVI:
- Lagon 52x 2 on standby in Fort Lauderdale
- Lagoon 450 "Between The Sheets" Being sent down next week to Tortola with Supplies
- Lagoon 500 "Black Pearl" Being sent down with Supplies to Tortola
- Lagoon 440 's x 4 on standby in Fort Lauderdale
- Lagoon 39 on standby in Fort Lauderdale
- Gemini Legacy's x 3
Current Status of boats in Tortola
We are waiting for a full update from our surveyor as a number of our boats were not seriously affected but we need to verify this.
Although the first few days were difficult, it is so heartwarming and truly amazing to hear that our Team is already hard at work with initial clean up and assessment. Our office and docks is in tact and will be up running in no time and Mynova is working hard with her team to ensure we are operational soon in the admin side. Didier and his team are working on the dock and repair side and our Workshop did not get any damage and all equipment and parts are safe and in working order.
Our General Manager, Marianne who is in Tortola has reported water for drinking and no visible short supply. Provisions seem to be steady and plenty of wine at Tico's.
We also have been working hard to assist all charter operators and guests who were in need of a catamaran due to their circumstances and we couldn't be happier or prouder to do our very best to make sure all Guests are accommodated for their upcoming sailing vacations.
We appreciate your patience as we continue to work make progress each day and we are so grateful to receive your wonderful emails and calls of support and encouragement. We will continue to update you but until then just know... Foxy's is OPEN and Bomba Shack has sent a request to all Ladies.......
