The St Pete Store & Visitors Center, a partnership between the City of St. Petersburg and the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce, cut a ribbon for "Skin Kandii", a St. Petersburg based minority owned business that completed the City's three-month Community Business Development training initiative. PandaDoc, a San Francisco-based document automation company, is opening its East Coast operations center at Station House in St. Petersburg.
It plans to hire up to 100 people here by the end of 2018.

The U.S. Green Building Council Florida Gulf Coast Region has announced the winners of its 2017 LEEDership and Green Awards program.
The nonprofit organization's eighth annual LEEDership Awards celebration recognized and honored those outstanding projects, inspirational businesses, dedicated volunteers and community stakeholders who are LEEDing the way to a more sustainable built environment in the Florida Gulf Coast community. Nearly 150 guests attended the Oct. 26 awards ceremony at the Le Meridien Hotel in downtown Tampa.

Florida Politics: David Boies offers pro bono defense of St. Pete campaign finance ordinance
If St. Petersburg gets legally challenged next year when its recently passed campaign finance law goes into effect, the city will have big-time representation (at no cost) for a case some predict could go all the way to the Supreme Court.
David Boies and his firm Boies Schiller Flexner, LLP has agreed to represent St. Pete pro bono.
