Dear Scouting Families and Volunteers,

We hope that you, your family, and your friends are staying healthy. Lately, we have faced new challenges, but as Scouts and Scouters, your dedication to being “clean” and “kind” is undoubtedly making a difference in our communities.

As we continually strive to keep ourselves and communities healthy, the Pathway to Adventure Council has been closely monitoring guidance given by local, state, and national health and government officials regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Following that guidance, the Pathway to Adventure Council Offices in La Grange, Chicago, Arlington Heights, and the temporary location in Highland, Indiana, will remain closed at this time . Most staff will continue to be available via phone or email should you need anything. Additionally, all unit, council, and district events are postponed or canceled through May 1, 2020.

Finally, our current goal is to continue with all of our summer camps and summer programs as scheduled. Any changes or cancellations will be communicated if our plans change.

We understand that this is not how your Scouts planned on spending their spring, but there are still plenty of ways that you can #ScoutAtHome! Be sure to check our Facebook page for ways to keep your Scout engaged as we continue to do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Additionally, if you have any questions regarding advancement, please check out the most recent information from the PTAC advancement committee.

Thank you for your support and for doing your part. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Sincerely,
The Pathway to Adventure Council Team
