UPDATE FROM JL POA
A Publication of the JL POA Chronicle
A s the Covid-19 situation continues to develop, the health and well-being of our JL residents and staff has remained our first priority.  We are committed to keeping you all updated with pertinent information regarding the JL community.

As we previously shared with you, some of our security staff were on voluntary isolation due to a possible COVID-19 exposure of a family member of our security director. We are pleased to announce that the testing of this individual was negative, thereby allowing us to bring the staff back to duty and begin resuming normal operation at our entrance gates.

Our staff in the POA office has also tested negative. Under the State of Florida mandate, the office will remain closed, but some phone coverage will be in place.

Unfortunately, one of our newer residents was transported to Jupiter Medical Center earlier in the week and has tested positive for the Covid-19 virus. The patient is still there and is being treated for the virus. This owner has lived in the JL community for only 3 weeks and has had very limited exposure to other residents.

We have closed the dog park due to recommendations from the State of Florida. Regrettably, the dog park is now locked from all use until further notice

We are aware that many of you are missing friends and loved ones and feel you have walked most every inch of JL! We applaud your diligence. Continue to keep a safe distance as you walk, try to minimize exposure to others by safe distancing, and follow the CDC guidelines for washing your hands.

Our hope is that if all of us take these precautions, we will come away from this difficult time realizing how little we need, how much we have, and the true value of human connection.
