Scripps National Spelling Bee Competition Update
The DuPage County Spelling Bee winner, Atman Balakrishnan, participated in the Scripps National Spelling Bee Competition in Washington D.C. last week. While Atman, a sixth-grader from Hinsdale Middle School, did not move on to the final round of competition, we are very proud of his dedication, hard work and achievement in striving to uphold his family legacy and representing our schools.

Back To School Fair - August 1 at St. Francis High School

The ROE, in partnership with the tremendous volunteers and efforts of the DuPage Credit Union, Catholic Charities and other partners, is planning the annual Back To School Fair scheduled for August 1 at St. Francis High School. School supplies, backpacks and school kits will be distributed and several donor agencies will be in attendance to help with a successful start to the new school year. Monetary donations are being accepted and can be mailed to the DuPage Education Foundation (for check memo: Back To School Fair) c/o Diane Kucharczyk, 421 N County Farm Rd. Wheaton, IL 60187.
