Kite Pharma, Inc. Wins 2020 MEDA Economic Development Project Award
We are thrilled that Frederick County's own Kite Pharma project won a MEDA award for economic development.  This project brings the latest in science and medicine to our area, as well as hundreds of jobs.
Maryland Business Express - Coronavirus Information for Businesses
The Maryland Department of Commerce in conjunction with the Maryland Department of Labor, the Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation, and several other state agencies launched a new webpage dedicated to business resources during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Retail Industry Trends - Disruptive Technology and How it is Reshaping Retail
The keynote speaker at this year's ICSC conference was Howard Saunders who is widely known as the Retail Futurist.  Saunders presented an animated industry discourse entitled World's Gone Crazy: The Age of Disruption.

The Top 50 Workplaces were selected by evaluating employee testimonials and each workplace's unique strategies to attract and retain top talent. Ag Spotlight - Did you know there are 13 farms in Frederick County that offer farm CSAs also known as community-supported agriculture.  A CSA is a weekly subscription to a season's worth of sustainable, locally grown produce and other items that are distributed to members throughout the harvesting season.
