John Ireland has been working in wood for over forty years. He has designed and built furniture, including commissioned works, for residential, corporate and public clients. His practice has also involved working from architects' and designers' plans for extensive cabinet work. Recently John has embarked on a new creative adventure by crafting carved and painted landscape panels. John lives in the Millbrook area.

Frank enjoys creating unique and artistic woodturning from his bright studio along the shores of Chemong Lake, where winter provides time to evolve new designs.He uses his studio and lathe as a creative place where wood is chosen as a subject of exploration.Each new piece is a journey of evolution as it becomes a finished form.His style is a mix of contemporary shapes, often highlighted with colour or texture to produce eye-catching pieces, each with their own personality.
