CASUALTY PROGRAM RENEWS WITH NEW $302 MILLION UMBRELLA
RHA is pleased to report an outstanding Casualty Program renewal with 96% retention. Once again, our membership demonstrated loyalty to our Association by renewing in very high numbers.
A key component of this year's renewal is the addition of $100MM in liability limits, bringing our Umbrella coverage to $302 million. This enhanced offering underscores the value proposition of RHA. Our purchasing power of $10,000,000 in casualty premiums allows us to provide industry-leading coverages and limits. It also reflects the importance of members' employing meaningful loss control measures at their properties.

Steven Adelman
RHA Annual Conference Speaker Steven Adelman is the head of Adelman Law Group, PLLC and Vice President of the international trade association, the Event Safety Alliance. His law practice focuses on risk management and litigation regarding safety and security at live events throughout North America, and he serves as an expert witness in crowd-related lawsuits.

CHILD SAFETY
RHA's Safety Focus for June is Child Safety. Whether your property is providing child activity programs, in-room babysitting, and/or tennis or golf coaching, ask these questions:
- Does our property have documented standards for hiring those who will come into direct contact with our guests' or members' children?
- Does our property provide documented training programs to these employees, training that is geared toward providing a fun and SAFE experience?
- Does our property have a formal sign-in/sign-out procedure for children in our care, and take steps to prevent unauthorized access to a child?
- Are those who provide services to children at our property properly supervised, limiting one-on-one situations between adults and children?
- Does our property have a written policy with regard to preventing abuse and molestation of children?
- Do those who provide services to children at our property clearly understand our "no tolerance" policy and what to do if they expect abuse or molestation of a child?
