• The State of Illinois is applying for disaster declaration today from the Small Business Administration. Once this program is active this will give Illinois businesses the ability to apply for Economic Injury Disaster Loans up to $2 million. Find more information on this program here.

  • We have received word from state officials that the Governor and his team are working with hospitality industry representatives to explore opportunities to provide relief to small businesses, including bars and restaurants, that have been impacted by the closure orders. Options being considered may include: sales and other tax payment extensions, pushing back licensing fee deadlines, mortgage and rent abatement, and prevention of utility and telecommunications service shutoffs, among others.

  • The Governor is holding daily press conferences at 2:30pm. These can be viewed on the State of IL website HERE

  • The One Fair Wage campaign had launched an emergency cash relief fund and is offering $213 cash for any tipped wage worker affected by the bar and restaurant dining shut down. Details HERE.


Due to growing concerns over the spread of COVID-19 and recommdations from state officials, starting March 18th, our office will be closed until further notice.
