Orange County Health Care Agency Issues New Orders
All Yorba Linda City facilities will be closed to the public as of Wednesday, March 18, following Tuesday’s
executive order
from the Orange County Health Care Agency to slow the transmission of COVID-19 (coronavirus). The County’s emergency order prohibits gatherings of any size in the county, eliminates dining in at restaurants, and strongly encourages those 65 and over and those with underlying health conditions to stay home.
Because Yorba Linda is under the County’s jurisdiction, the City of Yorba Linda is encouraging our residents and businesses to abide by the order. Food facility owners with questions should call Orange County Health/Environmental Health at 714-433-6000.

issued by the County of Orange Emergency Operations Center.
City Facilities and Services
In response to the emergency order, Yorba Linda will now close City Hall to the public through March 31. Other City recreation facilities and the Yorba Linda Library were previously closed. City staff will continue to provide services by phone, email, through the City’s website, and in-person by appointment only.
Yorba Linda Police Services will maintain essential public safety services, but the substation building will no longer be open for public access. Residents can contact Yorba Linda Police Services Dispatch at 714-647-7000 for non-emergency calls and dial 9-1-1 for emergencies.
These measures are among a series of steps adopted by the City of Yorba Linda in recent days to protect public health and align with recommendations from the State Department of Public Health, Federal Centers for Disease Control, and the Orange County Health Care Agency.
