MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Chamber Visitor Center at Lake Arrowhead Village is Closed at this time.
We're teleworking and we're here to help!

All Chamber Meetings are Cancelled this month

Spring brings renewal and new beginnings.
While we're sheltering in place, our Government Representatives are working hard to bring us COVID-19 Resources, these are outlined in this month's newsletter.

As we face many new challenges, there is unprecedented business opportunity in the SBA loans and terms offered under the CARE Act. Keep scrolling to the section below, we've curated key summaries of the loan programs and terms. Almost everything you need to get the applications filed asap, just add your data.

Until it's safe to get "back to business" please #SHOPLOCAL. Our essential businesses are open and many are offering new services such as take-out and delivery and safe protocols. There's a section of the newsletter below where we highlight these member businesses.

Let's support each other, as our mountain community does so well, while we practice social distancing, keep our 6 feet of space, and continue to focus on our local economy.

Wishing everyone the best of health,
Robin Bull

Business Interruption Coverage
We've had several Chamber members asking about whether Business Interruption Insurance should cover losses from Cornavirus ordered shut downs. Generally, we're told pandemics are not covered however, coverage could be carrier/policy specific.

Insurance Commissioner Lara directed insurance companies to submit data to the California Department of Insurance regarding coverage of commercial business interruption related to COVID-19. http://www.insurance.ca.gov/0400-news/0100-press-releases/2020/release032-2020.cfm
