Sharing Our Faith - A Summer Blessing
|
May we make our homes places of relaxation,
joy, love, peace and safety.
May we be generous and considerate,
not thinking only about ourselves,
but helping others enjoy the blessings of the summertime.
Lord God, Creator of all things,
guide our steps and strengthen our hearts
during these months of summer and vacation days.
Grant us refreshment of mind and body.
May we constantly strive to make a meaningful difference
in the lives of our loved ones and in the world around us
as we enjoy the warm days of summertime.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

A MESSAGE MRS. WADE
I shared with the parents who were in attendance at the last Parent Guild Meeting that my oldest daughter's pregnancy was not progressing well and asked for prayers. Sadly, our little angel, Robert Jeffrey Gallegos, was delivered stillborn on May 27th. I was with my daughter and son-in-law when Robert entered the world and got to hold him and say goodbye. I thank you all for your prayers, and ask you to continue praying, especially for Gloria and Aaron, who are struggling with the devastating sadness of losing their first child.
Once again, I thank all those who prayed and are praying for my family during this heartbreaking time. Your thoughts and prayers mean a great deal to me
Special thanks to the Parent Guild Board for the beautiful white orchid I received in Robert's honor, and to the incredibly generous school family who provided dinner for my family this past week. I am eternally grateful

Too Many Lates and Absences?
Please make every effort to have your child arrive to school ON TIME EVERY DAY. Even though school is almost over, all students are expected to be here and be on time. Tardiness is a disruption to the class and does not start your child's day in the best manner. Excessive tardiness and absence may be reported and investigated as truancy. Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
