On May 21, Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton met with the Disarm/End Wars Committee co-chairs and became the first US legislator to sign the "Congressional Pledge" to support joining the UN Treaty to Prohibit Nuclear Weapons.

The Triangle (NC) Branch engaged in Memorial Day activities bracketed by two PPC events. WILPF members participated in two May PPC protests and several were arrested for civil disobedience.
