Featuring Forklift's first ever Clothing Swap-O-Rama!
Spring cleaning with a twist:
Why spend a lot of $$$ when you can swap old for new and customize your finds? Have you been holding onto that pair of jeans you've outgrown, or that gift that really just wasn't you? Maybe your style has entirely changed. Your rags are someone else's treasure!
A Swap-O-Rama is a fun opportunity to recycle pre-loved clothing
and spruce up your wardrobe.
How it works:
* Bring a bag or more of clean, gently used clothes
* Modify your finds at any of the DIY Stations
* Take as much as you can carry!!
Cost to participate: $5
All proceeds and leftover clothes will be donated to charity!

We wanted to share a sweet message we received from a local group of home-schooled students who visited the Forklift last week on a field trip. They took an educational tour, played our "granite game," and upcycled reclaimed house parts into hardware wind chimes.
|
|
Dear Ruthie & Community Forklift,
Thank you for hosting us for a field trip! We enjoyed learning about the 3 P's- people, the planet, and prosperity. Our favorite part was reusing materials to make wind chimes. We want everyone to know that we can all do our part to help our world!
