We hope this first newsletter of 2016 finds you well. Students returned to campus and spring semester kicked off here at Holy Family on January 11th. Throughout this semester, Zumba with Jenna Spadaccino is free and open to alumni to help you meet all your new year fitness goals.

Holy Family University will host the Tri-State Teaching and Learning Consortium Spring Meeting on Friday, February 5.
The Tri-State Teaching and Learning Consortium is composed of faculty, deans, and directors of Teaching and Learning Centers in colleges and universities from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware who meet regionally to discuss best practices and faculty development issues.

The Family and Friends of Holy Family University are the largest independent fundraising group at HF. In late December, Family and Friends leadership presented Sister Maureen with a donation of $16,000
in support of student scholarships (pictured below). We thank them for their ongoing support of our students.
You can join with the Family and Friends of Holy Family University to make an impact on student financial aid at their annual BINGO event, to be held on Sunday, April 24, 2016. Last year, over 400 people participated in this great day. Tickets are on sale now. Click the link below for more information.

Dinner and Learn for Nursing Alumni
Bayada Pediatrics Home Health Care is sponsoring a "Dinner and Learn" at Holy Family University for our Nursing Alumni. The event will be approximately 2 hours in length and include dinner, a presentation from Bayada, giveaways and a discussion of their immediate openings.

Sister Francesca on the road
Would you believe there are over 260 HFU alumni currently living in Florida? Sister Francesca Onley, CSFN, PhD '59, President Emeritus, along with University Trustee Sister Rosemarie Griffin, CSFN '63 recently traveled to Florida and enjoyed lunch with three alumni at the Waterfront Inn in The Villages. Pictured below, along with the Sisters are Mary Anne Brady '67, Sandi Kayes '91, and Barbara Bienvenue '70.
