Parish Updates - April 3, 2020
HOLY WEEK IS HERE!
But it will be very different.

We will do our best to stay connected - to God through our prayer and to one another praying together, Holy Week liturgies and staying in touch.

Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday . When Jesus entered Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, people took whatever branches they could find, cut them and spread them on the ground in front of Jesus. Normally everyone gets a palm branch at Church. Since we cannot give out palms, I invite you to cut some branches or palms from your yard and hang them on your front door. We have more ideas on how to celebrate Holy Week below and at our Home Church Sunday page.
When the COVID-19 crisis began, we established Neighborhood Groups. Each person in our parish should have received a call from their Neighborhood Group leader. If not, please email me . We will continue these calls in order to stay connected, share needs and blessings, and pray together. When we pray together and share our common hope in Christ Jesus, we grow strong together.

“Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them” (Mt 18:20).
Each Sunday we are called to “keep holy the Sabbath” and although that may look different for right now we will still come together as a St. Patrick community through the gift of technology and we encourage you to spend this sabbath centering on God’s presence through worship, learning from the scriptures, praying, and just spending time in community.
