#INWED18 News: June
Five days to until  #INWED18
Welcome to the final newsletter ahead of INWED18,

The response to our international awareness campaign has been fantastic with the theme this year of #RaisingTheBar really hitting a chord with a wide and global audience - we need a step change.

We are excited to see so many events planned not just around the UK but also internationally including Panama, Canada and Pakistan.

On behalf of WES, I wish you all good luck with your celebrations and events and please send us photos to share far and wide!

Kirsten Bodley, CEO, WES

#INWED18 events happening this week

This year, International Women in Engineering Day takes place on a Saturday, and so a number of activities have been scheduled by participants to take place this week, and in fact across the whole of June itself all across the globe.

This is great for increasing awareness of the great work female engineers are doing across the globe, but also serves a purpose to show that celebration of these achievements and raising awareness of the wealth of career opportunities in engineering!

Take a look at our 2018 Events page to see our interactive map
and details of all events that have been registered with us.
