ABOUT MONDAY'S TOPIC
Working remotely can be personally and professionally rewarding. Studies show that remote workers are often more productive than their office counterparts, and they tend to have improved morale, well-being and work-life balance. Now, enter a pandemic and all of that seems to have flown out the door.
What we already know is that remote work is not for everyone. Even remote work superstars are challenged with being forced to self-quarantine…with their families, or even alone.
How are we supposed to cope? Getting out of your pajamas is a good start. In this brief webinar, Pam will offer you tips to boost morale, reduce interpersonal conflict, and obtain support for those moments when you need a mental health break.
Gov. Walz Announces Expansion of Outdoor Rec Activities
Now OK to Golf, Fish, Hunt & More
Just in time for this weekend’s beautiful weather, the Governor just announced today (Friday) that he is allowing more outdoor recreation activities.

Channel 5 reports: "Friday, Gov. Tim Walz issued an executive order that expands outdoor recreation opportunities for Minnesotans during the COVID-19 epidemic.  The order allows for Minnesotans to take part in golfing, boating, fishing, hunting and hiking while following social distancing guidelines.
The new order goes into effect Saturday at 5 a.m."
List of COVID-19 Related Loans & Grants
Comprehensive & Easy List
Apple Valley Chamber hears from our members how confusing all these loan and grant programs are. Also, especially the smaller businesses are telling us they are having difficulty even meeting with some of the banks. The PPP loans have dried up since yesterday until Congress authorizes additional funds which may or may not occur.

We found this SPREADSHEET of COVID-19 RELATED LOANS/GRANTS which we think takes much of the confusion out of it. This was compiled by the Itasca Group made up of some of the largest companies in MN and we received it from Grand Rapids Chamber President whom we know. We hope this helps you some.
