And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which
are
by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Facebook, and others are using meeting software such as
Zoom. Be sure to download the application needed to view services in the format the specific church is utilizing in advance of the service times, where applicable.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Friday’s Daily Connections will begin a transition for Holy Week in which we publish only the meditation, prayer and other worshipful items. No COVID-19 or other news will be published. We will work at keeping our
website
updated with pertinent information during Holy Week.
May this coming week be filled with the soberness of the cross and the joy of the resurrection.
Serving our Risen Lord Together,
John Jantzi

FBI Makes Recommendations for Zoom Meetings
|
|
The FBI released a warning earlier this week that Zoom conferences and classrooms had been hacked and inappropriate images and words were inserted into the connection. District congregations are cautioned to investigate this more c
losely and employ the following recommendations from the FBI:
- Do not make meetings or classrooms public. In Zoom, there are two options to make a meeting private: require a meeting password or use the waiting room feature and control the admittance of guests.
- Do not share a link to a teleconference or classroom on an unrestricted publicly available social media post. Provide the link directly to specific people.
- Manage screensharing options. In Zoom, change screensharing to “Host Only.”
- Ensure users are using the updated version of remote access/meeting applications. In January 2020, Zoom updated their software. In their security update, the teleconference software provider added passwords by default for meetings and disabled the ability to randomly scan for meetings to join.
- Lastly, ensure that your organization’s telework policy or guide addresses requirements for physical and information security.
